From ongoing series YR 002, the artist takes advantage of the “bird of flight” which has formed in the ink, nestling it between the hands of the figure. YR 002 incorporates a bold line work, tracing along the shadows and various framing shapes, and continuing Skal’s exploration of abstract versus realism.
